There are several phases involved in creating the best home remodeling plans, and a solidly planned-out process helps to avoid stress during the construction phase and ensure that the remodel meets all of your specifications.
The first step is a conversation between you and Criner. During this phase we discuss your ideas, offer advice regarding what you have in mind for your remodel, and create a lead sheet with your name, phone number, and address. We also record the nature of the project and your initial thoughts about how you’d like to update your home. After this conversation, we pass your lead sheet to our company’s president, Robert Criner, who then reviews the ideas before calling you to set up a meeting at your home. During this in-person meeting we have a more in-depth conversation about your wishes and draw up a rough estimate for the project. The initial estimate and conversation are free of charge.
Once you decide that you want to go through with the project, crafting your home remodeling plans begins. After signing a design agreement, we start solidifying the plans for your project using our three-dimensional computer modeling and design expertise in order to get a better idea of what the final results will look like. We also work up a formal estimate at this time. The minimum price for design will be noted on your agreement.
After you are satisfied with the design plans and pricing, a second meeting takes place during which you see the three-dimensional images and make sure that everything fits your vision. A third meeting may be necessary to sign the contract and set a start date.
