Criner Remodeling’s own Paul Criner recently had the honor of serving as a judge for the Best of IBS Awards at the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) International Builders’ Show in Las Vegas—the world’s largest annual light construction event.
The Best of IBS Awards celebrate the most innovative products shaping the future of home building and remodeling. This year’s competition drew more than 300 entries from exhibitors across nine categories, plus an overall Best in Show. A panel of 36 independent judges—including industry leaders, media professionals, and experts like Paul—carefully reviewed the entries to select the winners based on design, functionality, innovation, and consumer impact.
Drawing on his experience leading Criner Remodeling and his deep involvement in the building industry, Paul brought a thoughtful and practical perspective to the judging process.
“The 2025 Best of IBS awards featured many new products that identified a gap in the market and delivered an elegant solution,” Paul said. “It was an incredibly tough competition, and I’m impressed by all of the applicants and finalists. I believe all of these products will improve the remodeling and building industry.” (“NAHB announces Best of IBS Winners at 2025 International Builders’ Show”)
Paul’s selection as a judge highlights his leadership in the remodeling industry. In addition to his work at Criner Remodeling, he stays involved in national organizations, mentors young professionals, and supports efforts to advance the industry. His participation in events like the NAHB International Builders’ Show ensures remodelers are represented in important industry conversations.
We’re proud to see Paul recognized at such a major national event and even prouder of the work he does every day to carry forward Criner Remodeling’s commitment to craftsmanship, innovation, and community leadership.
